Snow in September!!!

This is the morning... I had no idea what was to come later on. I just thought the Y looked cool in the fog...
I hope you can see the snow flakes... Camilla (Melissa's roommate from Orem) said it was more like slush, not really snow... but for a CA girl, this was snow enough for a celebration. My roommates and I had hot cocoa and all stopped doing homework to take pictures.

Here's a better shot... isn't it exciting! it's only September!!!!!
This is me in the snow... excited. note: (for the video) it wasn't that cold in the morning.

After the snow storm... right before we left for the Relief Society General Conference. The snow didn't stick in the valley though :(

I hope this video's cool. I haven't seen it yet... and it's my first time using my video setting on my camera. Plus I was completely in shock and excitement that it was snowing and I wasn't doing my homework...

Disneyland Park!

We went to Disneyland on Friday the 21st of Sept. after school.
It was the first day of their Halloween Celebration.
They have lots and lots of Candy Corn.
We had a blast and then it rained...

and rained...

and rained.

We had a great time. Sound familiar?

TrueBlueFootball

wow. can you tell that's me? what a blast this was! My contacts even turned blue... but it was so fun...
The group I went with... (left to right) Elise, Melissa, John, Jaycee(me), Nelson, Trent... we ALL had fun!
We totally had a blast! There was this slide - kind of like a slip 'n' slide, but down a hill covered with blue foam - that stuff was slippery, and kind of got you blue too :)
This is after we washed off... Melissa and I decided to wait to take showers in the locker room, before our swim class - we were blue then too... actually, I'm still blue, I hope this stuff with come off soon... I look like a Smurph...
Melissa and I are heading to our swim class - we got a lot of funny looks and smiles - some asked us why... and others asked us when and how and if it was fun... :)

Lighting the Y

The Y from where we first saw it... we got to a good view as the people with the lights were counting down 5-4-3-2-1... and then they lit it up. Talk about getting there just in the nick of time...
This is a view looking down the mountain at Provo... you can see the outline of the Y. We decided we'd go to the very top, since we were there anyways :)
Melissa and me, looking down at Provo... that's a pic we took ourselves... and the flash was REALLY bright!
This is also Provo from the view point of the Y, with me and Melissa in the foreground... :)
And then from the bottom of the Y... it's pretty neat - an experience Melissa and I will never forget. This pic was actually taken by our good friend Josh Reshke, who was in charge of FOL and is in charge of the Cougar United association.

47 Fox Hall - jaycee's dorm

This is the view outside my window - if you look carefully you can see the Y... it's kind of rainy outside, too... tons of fun! We've gotten downpours for about 5 minutes with sprinkles and sunny skies - lightning and thunder with a 0 mile count (the lightning and thunder often flashed and sounded together) Some car alarms went off from the storm - that's how close it was... yikes! but a blast. This is my bed and desk, bookshelf, and pretty much where I'm living... I like it a lot.
Close up of my self - so you can see what I've got up there...
The end of my bed... and closet - I'm really using the storage drawers, and you can see my trash can :)

This is where I'm putting all your notes - so I can read them all the time... and I know I haven't found them all yet - I actually just found one in my socks this morning before I went running...
Love you lots! I'm having a blast!
